The protection of private and confidential information is fundamental to Procurement Australasia Ltd ACN 058 335 363 (trading as ‘YUME Procurement’) and its related bodies corporate (collectively, “YUME Procurement”, “our”, “us” or “we”).
YUME Procurement is committed to safeguarding personal information it holds and to doing so in accordance with this policy (“Privacy Policy”), which reflects the requirements of the Australian Privacy Principles of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (“Act”). In this Privacy Policy, “personal information” and “sensitive information” has the same meaning as defined in the Act.
This statement sets out YUME Procurement’s policy relating to the collection, storage, access and use of personal information, including for all sites that form part of the network of YUME Procurement’s digital sites (collectively described as “Website” in this Privacy Policy). 3. How does YUME Procurement collect personal information?

4. What kind of personal information does YUME Procurement collect?
The personal information we collect (including from the Website) includes information or an opinion about you, from which you are reasonably identifiable and may include (but is not limited to) your name, address, contact details, gender, occupation, company, and if relevant, financial information, including credit card information, banking details and income information. This personal information includes personal information:

The Website, among other things, allows you to create an online account to become a customer, subscribe to newsletters and to submit feedback on certain articles. 7. How will YUME Procurement use personal information?

We may use personal information about you for the primary purpose of providing you with our services, and for other purposes for which you would reasonably expect us to use that information. This includes to:

You agree and acknowledge that even if you opt out of receiving marketing material, we will still send you essential information that we are legally required to send you relating to the services we provide. Once you opt out of receiving marketing material from us, you agree and acknowledge that this removal from our distribution lists may take several business days after the date of your request to be removed.

We may charge a reasonable fee for providing that information.

We will not disclose personal information to any third party other than as set out in this Privacy Policy. YUME Procurement sometimes team up with third-party companies to offer products or
services to you by providing links to their websites (“Preferred Partner”). Please refer to the third-party companies’ websites for their Terms & Conditions, as well as their Privacy Policy for the ongoing management of your data.
Other than as stated in this policy, YUME Procurement will not, in the course of its operations, disclose personal information to any outside parties without your consent.
In certain circumstances, YUME Procurement may be compelled by law to disclose personal information to various authorities, such as where YUME Procurement is compelled to disclose the personal information by a warrant, to react to unlawful activity, serious misconduct, or to reduce or prevent a serious threat to life, health or safety.
YUME Procurement does not sell, rent or trade personal information (including as collected from the Website) to or with third parties.
11. Where is my data stored?
Information collected through this website is stored and processed using secure system operated by YUME Procurement and its third-party service providers.
The Website is hosted on third-party platforms that may utilise infrastructure located outside Australia. In addition, the YUME platform is primarily hosted on cloud infrastructure located in Australia, however some supporting services may operate on global infrastructure.
12. Accuracy of your information
We take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information held by us is accurate, up-to-date, complete, relevant and not misleading. If you believe that any of your personal information is not accurate, up-to-date, complete and not misleading, please contact us and we will take all reasonable steps to correct it within a reasonable time.
13. How is personal information protected?
YUME Procurement takes reasonable steps to protect any personal information that it holds from misuse and loss. It also protects that information from unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.
YUME Procurement further protects the personal information by educating its employees and volunteers about this Privacy Policy and the handling of personal information. We have internal policies in place to manage access privileges, to ensure that only those who really need to can see your personal information.
YUME Procurement maintains appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect information held in electronic systems. This includes the use of secure cloud service providers, access controls, network security measures and internal policies designed to prevent unauthorised access to systems.
Where systems are hosted using third-party cloud infrastructure, security is managed in accordance with the provider’s security standards and shared responsibility model. YUME Procurement also maintains appropriate data backup and recovery processes to reduce the risk of data loss in the event of system failures.
YUME Procurement has operational programs that oversee the management of personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the Act.
If we no longer need your personal information, unless we are required under Australian law or a court or tribunal order to retain it, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify your personal information, in accordance with our document and information retention policy.
Notwithstanding the reasonable steps taken to keep information secure, breaches may occur. In the event of a security incident, we have in place procedures to promptly investigate the incident and determine if there has been a data breach involving personal information, and if so, to assess if it is a breach that would require notification. If it is, we will notify affected parties in accordance with Act requirements.

YUME Procurement may change this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect legislative changes or changes to our personal information management practices.
